Macro Sensors introduces the LVC 4000 Signal Conditioner for use with LVDTs, RVDTs and VR half bridge position sensors. Featuring push-button controls, color-coded terminal blocks, DIN rail mounting and hot-swap installation, the new LVC 4000 Signal Conditioner is easy to install and calibrate. When paired with AC signal position sensors, the LVC 4000 converts output to 4-20mA, 0-5V, 0-10V or RS-485. Blinking LEDs on the front face of the signal conditioner warn the user of installation errors or systems failures.
Manner GmbH has developed a special, compact measuring flange with an integrated overload protection mechanism for drive trains. The overload protection allows anoverload factor of 100. The destruction of the torque sensor during overload can therefore be prevented. This risk arises during a sudden blockage of the drive train (bearing damage). Another application is the measurement of very small torque values on an oversized drive train. High breakaway torques are therefore no longer a problem.
